Fifth-rankedLMMR 2 (5-10) gave a tough game to fourth ranked Santa Ana 2 (9-6) on Tuesday. Santa Ana 2 managed to secure only one-point victory 67-66 . However their fans expected easier game. Strangely LMMR 2 outrebounded Santa Ana 2 59-47 including a 22-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Santa Ana 2 looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Cuban point guard Dairis Tornell (176-1992) who helped to win the game recording 28 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and Monica Aristondo (163-1992) who added 11 points, 15 rebounds and 9 assists during the contest. Four Santa Ana 2 players scored in double figures. At the losing side Cuban center Enriqueta Neyra (186-1997) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 25 rebounds and Dominican swingman Yadira Polanco (178-1992) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 16 rebounds. Santa Ana 2 moved-up to third place, which they share with Batanecas. LMMR 2 at the other side keeps the fifth position with ten games lost. They share it with PSN.
